We will be pony trailing to the Landoll’s Mohican Castle near Loudonville Ohio on August 24th and meet at 8.00AM at the United Dairy Farmers on the corner of Rt 3 and Rt 36 in Sunbury Ohio.
We’ll see the stately majesty of times past in a luxurious castle. Located in central Ohio, deep in the heartland of Mohican country and Loudonville, Ohio, the estate offers unprecedented luxury in its lodging and seclusion. Landoll’s Mohican Castle opened, to the public in 2002. Sitting on 30 acres, the castle sits at 1,200 feet. Technically, it is a mountain. In the summer of 2015, the producers of Gordon Ramsay’s TV shows reached out to the Landoll family asking them to be part of one of Gordon’s shows “Hotel Hell.” While reluctant about participating, Gordon and his team spent 10 days putting everyone through the wringer. Our group lunch is in the Copper Mug Bar & Grill at 12.30PM. A castle tour is planned for 1.30PM ($2.50 each) and includes several medieval suites and a history of the area.
After our tour, you can schedule a ghost hunt, visit a haunted cottage after dark or just explore their beautiful grounds and enjoy great outdoor scenery.
