We will be pony trailing to the Newport Aquarium in Newport Kentucky on May 18th. Rated #1 U.S. Aquarium by Readers Choice Travel Awards and #1 Aquarium in the Midwest by Zagat Survey. It’s home to thousands of aquatic animals in scores of exhibits, the aquarium will amaze you with all there is to see and do. You can touch a penguin, pet a shark and hear divers talk during their presentation. The aquarium has 70 exhibits and 14 galleries, including 5 seamless acrylic tunnels totaling over 200 feet in length. The aquarium is a world class facility featuring unique walk thru water exhibits and the first and only shark bridge.
We’ll meet at the Grove City McDonalds (I-71 exit right turn) on Stringtown Rd at 7:00AM and depart at 7:30AM. Arrive and meet at 9:00AM at the Hofbrauhaus Newport (200 3rd St) parking lot. It is a short walk to the Aquarium ticket office. Adult admission is $25.99 per person.
After our visit, walk back to the Hofbrauhaus for lunch, featuring authentic German food and deserts. Plan lunch about 12.00PM.
